How much power can your car's alternator put out?

Say on the interstate when you are going about 70mph on overdrive. How much power in watts? 1 more question. The alternator puts out 12 volts right? So based on the wattage you give me, if I divide by 12, then I should get the amperage right? Thanks a lot for the help.
