Was anyone as disappointed by the new Star Trek movie as I was?

Never mind that JJ and the gang seemed to purposefully go out of their way to make EVERYTHING different (with the exception of perhaps the uniforms). All that is knit-picking. The real problem with the movie was the story. All of Star Trek history is altered! Basically everything you and I love about Trek is changed or erased! Think about it, no TNG, no DS9, no Voyager. Heck, no TOS! The only thing that would remain unnafected by the time change would be Enterprise. This movie doesn't just break cannon, it vaporizes the cannon and gives the fans the finger! Never have I looked forward to a movie more and been more disappointed.
