Contact lenses and even just solution by itself makes my left eye hurt unbearably?

I wore them for a few months prior to this and then gave them up for a few weeks for a similar problem. I recently started wearing them again and recently the pain in my left eye has become unbearable, even when I am just dripping contact solution into my eye.
