Difference between hard and survivor in bioshock?

ok im on my second playthrough of bioshock on ps3 on hard(without vita chambers). to be honest its a cakewalk, but i was wondering how much more difficult is survivor mode?? obviously i know thats its gonna be harder, but how much?
