WHAT IS IN DEMAND ORACLE DBA OR D2K?

hi i am FY student of Bcom(computer application),having knowledge in oracle 9i SQL,PL/SQL. and also working as a faculty for oracle ,i want to know DBA is in demand or D2K is in demand,as i have to plan my carrier , and which other skills required for it..please suggest me,
