I live in Iowa and have a sneaking suspicion that I'm about to get fired. Can they fight me for unemployment?

I have several FMLA issues, have a pending workman's comp case, and have been employed for over 2 1/2 years. I just don't know how unemployment works in Iowa, and was wondering if anyone could shed some light so I know what to expect. I appreciate any feedback!
