I think he was snubbed, as you put it, because of his age. Just didn't want to put him through it at that age. If he keeps the pace up then no problem of him being on the 2010 team. If he wasn't so young I'd say it is too soon to talk about the next Crosby, in reference to CROSBY, in this case though I think it fits fine.
