Why is my brother such a idiot?

I am 15 and my brother is 13, he always hits me and kicks me and swears all the time and he always gets me in trouble. He makes me feel like when i was a baby our parents were disappointed and had him as well and they haven't had a third child because he is perfect. My parents are always really nice to him and he's got an ipod nano an ipod touch, an xbox a wii and wii fit and tons of ralph lauren clothes. I wouldn't mind so much if i was treated the same but i buy all of my own clothes and have to do loads of house work if i want some money, my parents never seem to care about me anymore since my brother has got older and i hate it so much, he such a little **** and i want him to go away because he rubs it in my face all the time, and I'm older!!! he doesn't respect my authority when i babysit him and just plays his chavvy music when i watch tv and always takes my laptop charger, I dont know what to do, I can't tell my parents because they think the world of the prat.
